FOX reporter Ken Rosenthal reported Wednesday morning that the Detroit Tigers and Yankees had discussed a swap involving New York's closer Andrew Miller, but the asking price was apparently too high.
Tweeted Rosenthal:
Sources: #Tigers have inquired on closers available in trade (Chapman, A. Miller, etc.). Not comfortable with asking prices.

The Tigers acquired several young players in 2015 when they traded away pitcher David Price and outfielder Yoenis Cespedes. Players, it seems, they don't want to part with.
