Couple who live in Yogi Berra's former house mourn his death

When Lisa and Jason Savage bought the New Jersey house where Yogi Berra had lived for more than 30 years, their realtor closed the deal with a nice touch — a blue-and-white front-door key embossed with the Yankee logo.

"We feel like it will always be Carmen and Yogi's house," Jason said after learning of the baseball legend's death. "It's a very sad day. It's an honor to live there."

The Savages bought the six-bedroom colonial in Montclair last year, not long after Berra's wife died. Carmen and Yogi Berra moved into the Highland Ave. house in 1974 after previously living in another house in town.
