Even Joba Chamberlin is celebrating CC Sabathia’s big milestone.
The former Yankee, now largely out of the public eye, sent out a congratulatory tweet to his teammate of yesteryear after Sabathia recorded his 3,000th strikeout Tuesday night against the Arizona Diamondbacks
“Watching one of my heros (sic) and best friends getting 3000k is amazing,” Chamberlain tweeted. “He has grinded and earned every one of them.”
Chamberlain, who retired from baseball in October 2017, played for the Yankees from 2007-2013.
