NJ Advance Media | Randy Miller: Luis Severino was finally activated from the injured list prior to Monday’s game against the Texas Rangers. As it turns out, there is more help for the Yankees’ pitching corps on the way: manager Aaron Boone said that the team expects to welcome back Domingo Germán by Tuesday or Wednesday.

“Domingo could be activated in the next day or two potentially,” Boone said. “He threw (two innings) in his (Triple-A rehab) game Saturday, so that might make him eligible (Tuesday). We’ll see.” Germán has been out since August 1 with right shoulder inflammation.
