NJ Advance Media | Randy Miller: After pitching on Saturday, the Yankees announced that right-hander Domingo Germán was placed on the 10-day injured list with right shoulder inflammation. The hurler had stated he “felt phenomenal out there” on the weekend against the Miami Marlins, so the news is certainly surprising. Lefty Néstor Cortés Jr. will stay in the rotation after all, as will newcomer Andrew Heaney. It’s still unclear how much time Germán will miss.
