Around the Empire: Yankees news - 6/8/17

Newsday | Laura Albanese: Masahiro Tanaka is not pitching well. He has not pitched well since he pitched that complete game shutout against the Red Sox. Even with that game, he hasn’t pitched that well all year. Joe Girardi and Larry Rothschild are considering pushing his start back a day so that he’d face the Angels instead of the Orioles. It’s not the worst idea really. Regardless, they need to figure out what’s wrong with him sooner rather than later.

New York Daily News | Justin Tasch: In Tuesday’s game against the Red Sox, NESN broadcaster and “man NESN kept OVER Don Orsillo” Jerry Remy made a stupid comment regarding interpreters being allowed at the mound.
