The Yankees downplayed it, so it doesn’t seem too serious. “We didn’t want to mess with anything too much,” Aaron Boone said. “Just try to avoid an injury situation.” Along with Higgy, relief pitcher Adam Warren has also been shut down with shoulder soreness.
