Andrew Miller's save streak ends at 24

CLEVELAND - Joe Girardi boiled the Yankees' lost weekend at the plate against Toronto down to a "few bad days," ones he didn't see enduring much longer.

"The way we've seen them hit during the course of the year," Girardi said yesterday afternoon, "tells you that it's not going to be like this the rest of the year."

The Yankees did manage to break out offensively -- using that phrase liberally -- a bit last night, but it went for naught as Andrew Miller flushed a two-run lead in the 10th inning, sending the Bombers deeper into the night at Progressive Field.
