The deep freeze between Alex Rodriguez and David Ortiz began to thaw Tuesday night.
The two players crossed paths inside the indoor batting cage at Jet Blue Park prior to the Yankees-Red Sox game, marking their first meeting in more than two years.
"I spoke to him today," Rodriguez said after he departed the game. "I'm happy for him."
During A-Rod's war with MLB over his role in the Biogenesis scandal, Rodriguez's attorney, Joe Tacopina, discussed PED use in baseball on ESPN Radio in January 2014 and said, "I'm not going to start naming all the other players, but some of them are God-like in Boston right now.
