After death scare, Farquhar loving every second of Yankees return

Spying your name on the list of pitchers for a spring-training game is a thrill for the young kid in camp for the first time.

For a 32-year-old journeyman with 253 big-league games under his belt, seeing your name on a sheet of paper listing the participants for a road trip doesn’t result in joy.

Then there is the Yankees’ Danny Farquhar, who gets pumped by pulling on his spikes.
