Aaron Judge doesn’t seem surprised about the report alleging the Astros used cameras in their ballpark to illegally steal opposing teams’ signs during their world championship 2017 season.
“Wait… what….?” Judge tweeted Tuesday, seemingly in a sarcastic tone.
The Yankees were upset with the Astros last month for allegedly whistling in the dugout during Game 1 of the ALDS at Minute Maid Park to alert their hitters to what types of pitches were coming.
It’s unclear whether the Astros used illegal technology then, and the purported strategy didn’t help much as the Yankees won Game 1, 7-0, before falling in six games.
