Aaron Judge deletes post congratulating Astros’ Jose Altuve on 2017 MVP

Aaron Judge has revised his ruling.

The Yankees outfielder seems to have deleted an Instagram post congratulating Astros shortstop Jose Altuve on the 2017 MVP award, not long after MLB levied a series of punishments against Houston for a cheating scandal that rocked the game.

“M-V-P!” Judge wrote in the since-deleted November 2017 post, “Nobody more deserving than you!! Congrats on an unforgettable 2017!! @josealtuve27”

The pint-sized Altuve smoked Judge in the voting, 27-2, though the Bomber took home AL Rookie of the Year in a unanimous decision.

Two seasons later, Judge was tweeting his disbelief at allegations against the Astros for using cameras to steal signs.
