Boone said several days ago the Yankees held a big meeting — featuring the front office and the coaching staff — about how to prepare for the A's and the American League Wild Card Game.
"We had an organization meeting a few days ago, the first one where we had front office, coaches, and myself and started to just kind of spitball ideas, get everyone’s thoughts, opinions, where we’re at, what we’re thinking at this point and that will kind of be an ongoing conversation now for the final days of the season as we get closer to that, and we’ll hopefully, through that dialogue and conversations, we’ll come up with the best plan possible to win that game," Boone said.
