New York Yankees Rumors: YES Network to broadcast Masahiro Tanaka 2013 start

New York Yankees rumors are firmly entrenched in trade and free agent buzz, but the Yankees' biggest and most-hyped acquisition of the offseason will get a chance to shine on the YES Network sooner than expected.

The YES Network has just announced that they are going to replay one of Japanese sensation Masahiro Tanaka's starts for the Rakuten Golden Eagles from the 2013 season. The broadcast will begin at 7pm EST/4pm PST on February 10th.

Yankees' fans have been clamoring to get their first glimpse of Masahiro Tanaka even since the 25-year-old righthander signed a 7-year, $155 million deal with the New York Yankees a couple weeks ago.

The YES Network will have plenty of quality starts to choose from, with Tanaka going 24-0 last season with a minuscule 1.27 ERA. He also posted a 0.943 ERA, playing a major role in leading the Pacific League's Rakuten Golden Eagles to the 2013 Japan Series championship.

The Yankees will play their first Spring Training game three weeks from today, in an exhibition contest against the Florida State Seminoles. There is no word yet on when Masahiro Tanaka will see his first Major League Baseball action.
