Goalkeeper Luis Robles extended his consecutive MLS regular season starts and full 90 minutes played streak this season to 208, a streak which began in 2012.
In his 34 MLS starts this season, Robles kept 10 clean sheets while making 99 saves.
Though Robles is in his sixth season with the team, this season proved to be one filled with new challenges. Not only did the Red Bulls have a younger squad this season, but Robles found himself playing with his feet more than in previous seasons.
“It became very obvious that we were playing with a higher back line,” Robles stated.
