Before Bob Bradley was the first American head coach in England's Premier League, he was the first American head coach of the MetroStars in MLS.
He lasted almost three years with the club, before suffering the double indignity of being fired by (then MetroStars GM) Alexi Lalas and replaced by Mo Johnston.
Bradley moved on to bigger and better things, ultimately gathering sufficient coaching experience around the world for Swansea City to give him a shot at managing in EPL. It took six games, but Bradley finally has his first win for Swansea under his belt: 5-4 over Crystal Palace.
