The United States Women’s National Team (USWNT) finishes out its first leg of its post-Olympic tour with a match against The Netherlands this Sunday in Atlanta. Instead of playing a second match against Thursday’s opponent, Thailand, the USWNT will be hosting the twelfth-ranking team in the world.
On Thursday, the USWNT defeated Thailand 9-0 in Columbus, Ohio. Within the first five minutes of the match, the USWNT had already Carli Lloyd scored a hat trick, Alex Morgan had a brace and Christen Press, Heather O’Reilly, Tobin Heath and Crystal Dunn all scored for the USWNT in that match.
