We are one full day from the biggest match in the Jesse Marsch era for the New York Red Bulls as the boys are getting ready to play the 2017 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup against Sporting Kansas City at Children’s Mercy Park.
After their run began in the 4th round on June 14th at home against NYCFC, shootout victory over the Philadelphia Union on June 28th, a late game winner on the campus of Harvard against the New England Revolution in the Quarterfinals and then a comeback extra time winner at FC Cincinnati in the Semi-Finals.
The Red Bulls are ready to attempt to win the National Championship of US Soccer and get their first cup in club history, but for the final time we have to remember that big run back in 2003 as this club known then as the MetroStars started that feet.
