Tyler Adams scored his first Major League Soccer goal on Wednesday night. He added his second later in the game.
Though they weren't his first professional goals, Adams notched his first MLS brace against D.C. United in a 3-3 draw at Red Bull Arena.
On a well-executed transition into D.C. United’s defensive third, Adams scored his first MLS goal of his career in the 19th minute to give New York an early 1-0 lead.
"Amazing, amazing, amazing. Tyler Adams, amazing," Jesse Marsch said after the game. "Gets better every game, growing every game. What a pleasure to watch him.
