Tyler Adams Nominated for USMNT Young Male Player of the Year

2017 has really been Tyler Adams’ year: He helped the USMNT U-20 team win their first-ever CONCACAF Championship, broke out into the starting lineup for the Red Bulls, helped the USYNT squadreach the FIFA U-20 World Cup Quarter-Finals, scored his first MLS brace, AND earned his first cap for the USMNT senior squad. Adams’ strong year has in turn earned him a nomination for one of the US Soccer Federation’s top awards.

On Tuesday, US Soccer announced their six nominees for the 2017 Young Male Player of the Year - to which Adams was nominated. The other five were Luca De La Torre, Jonathan Gonzalez, Erik Palmer-Brown, Josh Sargent and Tim Weah.
