Sky Blue FC forward Tasha Kai underwent her second ankle surgery of the off-season on January 9. Pictures posted on her social media accounts show the procedure was done to her right ankle.
The Hawaiian native previously underwent successful arthroscopic surgery for her left ankle on September 26, 2016. Kai opted to have the procedure done after having a series of “nagging” injuries throughout the 2016 National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) season.
Unlike her first picture posted regarding her left ankle surgery (above), there are no hashtags as of yet to hint at whether she will need any additional procedures done.
