As if losing to NYC FC at home several weeks ago wasn't painful enough, the MLS Disciplinary Committee has decided to add some salt to the Red Bulls wounds by retroactively suspending two star players.
On Friday, the New York Red Bulls announced on their website that midfielder Tyler Adams and defender Kemar Lawrence had both been suspended for violent conduct and endangering play respectively, stemming from their actions during the 2-0 loss to NYC FC back on June 25th.
As a result, Adams will be suspended for the Red Bulls' mid-week clash with the New England Revolution at Gillette Stadium.
