Sky Blue is looking to knock out cancer in a big way. Over the last two days the club has announced the creation of philanthropic partnerships with both the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC) and Go4theGoal.
As part of the partnership with Go4theGoal, founded in 2006 to improve the lives of pediatric cancer patients by providing financial support, working with hospitals to institute programming for the patients, and funding cancer research and granting individual personal wishes; the coaching staff will join in the Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer® program and wear gold laces during the July 9th game at Yurcak Field against the Dash.
