The one time Red Bulls Homegrown signing looks to be pursuing options abroad after being cut by New York.
After being waived by the team a little under a month ago, Scott Thomsen has reappeared.
The New York Red Bulls initially signed Thomsen in December as part of a huge streak of Homegrown signings. He took place in preseason training with the team, alongside fellow new Homegrowns Brandon Allen, Tyler Adams, Chris Thorshiem, Mael Corboz, Derrick Etienne, and Alex Muyl. Thomsen played in multiple scrimmages with the team, before being the third and final Homegrown cut as the season started.
