New York Red Bulls captain Sacha Kljestan became the franchise’s all-time leader in assists as a Red Bull with 43.
Kljestan surpassed Thierry Henry in the 90th minute as he earned the primary assist for Muyl’s goal.
“I can’t say I’m not proud,” Kljestan said, following the team’s 3-0 win over Minnesota United FC. “Obviously, to move in front of a guy like Thierry Henry is special and to do it in about two-and-a-half years says something, though I’m proud of it.”
Kljestan joined New York in 2017 and led the league in assists in 2016, with 20.
