Following the U.S. Men's National Team 0-0 draw with Serbia on Sunday afternoon, Red Bulls midfielder Sacha Kljestan was released from camp to return home to New Jersey, where he and his wife are expecting the birth of their second child this week.
Kljestan started and played 77 minutes before being replaced by Benny Feilhaber in the friendly.
“I thought overall Sacha was good in the game,” Red Bulls Head Coach Jesse Marsch told NewYorkRedBulls.com on Facebook Live. “Didn’t lose many balls, set up a lot of final plays, was a little bit unlucky that one of them didn’t get finished off, but thought he was one of the better players on the team within the game.
