This past Sunday the New York Red Bulls clinched the Eastern Conference Regular Season as they have the top spot in the Eastern Conference Playoffs as well as reclaiming their spot in the 2017-18 edition of the CONCACAF Champions League. But two other moments happened for the club as Bradley Wright-Phillips won the league golden boot and at the time we all thought Sacha Kljestan became the second MLS player to earn 20 assists.
But as the final whistle blew at Talon Energy Stadium to signal the end of the 2016 MLS regular season, a quick look at the box score saw Alex Muyl the goal scorer in the 2nd half earned his second of the season and third in all competitions unassisted.
