After many months of traveling around the U.S. and Europe, Chris Thorsheim has found a new home. On August 6th, Thorsheim signed a one-year contract with BK Middlefart. Yes Middlefart. I'll pause for 30 seconds and then we can continue with a serious conversation, okay? Okay.
The 22 year-old, described by Middlefart as a rightback, joins the Danish Second Division side after spending time with NYRBII and Vejle BK, amongst others. After a stellar college career at Bucknell, where he played a midfielder, and with the New York Red Bulls U23s, where he featured as a rightback, Thorsheim signed with the New York Red Bulls back in December before being cut in March.
