Paraguay's Oscar Romero is keeping the rumor mill busy. Currently at Racing Club in Argentina, the 24-year-old playmaker is being pursued by a steadily growing bushel of clubs from around the world: Brazil, Bundesliga, and yes - of course - MLS.
Romero had previously confirmed the existence of an offer from MLS, and we also know his club is inclined to play hardball in the transfer market. Romero's price has been set by Racing at $9-10 million, with the promise that any low bids would be rejected (Fluminense has reportedly tested Racing's resolve on this point).
