The Red Bulls look like they are breaking out of whatever funk they were in.
After playing the league-best Toronto FC to a standstill last weekend, the Red Bulls grounded out a 2-1, come-from-behind win over New England.
It wasn’t always pretty, but it snapped a four-game winless skid and came against a Revolution team the Red Bulls always have had difficulty beating. On Saturday, the victory finally came in front of 19,252 at Red Bull Arena, including Revolution and New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft.
The Red Bulls dropped their first three games of the month by an aggregate 8-1 scoreline to plummet from second place in the Eastern Conference all the way to sixth, teetering on the brink of the playoff race.
