Today was the 2015 MLS Waiver-Draft.
Thirty players were eligible to be selected. Players eligible are those who had been waived by their clubs, but did not reach the criteria for next week's Re-Entry Draft. The New York Red Bulls had one player eligible to be claimed by the 19 other MLS franchises in Leo Stolz.
The Red Bulls held the 18th overall pick, having bowed out in the Eastern Conference Finals. They will hold this selection for the Re-Entry draft and for the 2016 MLS Superdraft.
The draft went fairly quickly, with only the Colorado Rapids reportedly making a selection.
