Red Bulls Credit ‘Limiting Big Chances’ In Second Consecutive Clean Sheet

Following the Red Bulls’ fourth home clean sheet of the season against Columbus, 2-0, Head Coach Jesse Marsch attributed the defensive milestone to effectively limiting opponents’ chances.

“I thought overall, even though they were able at times to possess the ball and go from one side to the other, we didn't give up huge chances,” Marsch said. “Overall I thought the guys hung in there, and it allowed us to make changes that I think helped us not get too defensive.”

New York limited Crew SC to 10 shots, including two blocks, two shots on goal, and two saves by Luis Robles.
