The Red Bulls – who’ve been known for a lack of continuity and revolving door of coaches since their MetroStars days – finally may be getting some stability. The latest sign is handing coach Jesse Marsch a multi-year contract extension.
“It’s nice when you find something that’s the right fit and you work with people that have the same value system,” Marsch said Friday after practice. “I knew there was symmetry, and a common belief in what it takes to be successful.
“I’ll be honest, I wasn’t sure if I’d ever find the right place again. But to find it in a place like this, where there are great resources, a great commitment to be successful I feel lucky.
