The Red Bulls looked like their old selves.
Despite an ugly blip last week and being without numerous key players, the Red Bulls resembled more of their CONCACAF Champions League-dominating selves, as they easily handled Minnesota United, 3-0, on Saturday night at Red Bull Arena.
The Red Bulls were looking to bounce back after an embarrassing 1-0 away loss to Real Salt Lake last week, which was the team’s first loss in all six matches this season. Numerous players said that loss was a wake-up call, as the team needed to break out of its high it had been running on from early success in the Champions League.
