Red Bulls II midfielder Konrad Plewa is recovering after suffering a stroke last weekend.
The stroke happened following a Red Bulls II road game at the Richmond Kickers on July 30.
“They took a bus, they got back at like 5 in the morning, and at 11 o’clock on Sunday morning he started losing feeling in his arm and part of his face,” Red Bulls head coach Jesse Marsch told reporters after a 2-2 tie at the L.A. Galaxy on Sunday night.
“And so he had to be rushed to the hospital, and they found that he had a stroke.
