The New York Red Bulls have announced that their preseason game against Sacramento Republic has been cancelled. Weather conditions in Sacramento have, unfortunately, made the Republic's field a less attractive playing surface than it should be.

The Red Bulls have little choice but to quickly adjust their plans. The team has cut Sacramento out of its travel plans and will head straight to Arizona for a Desert Diamond Cup tournament that starts with a game against NYCFC on February 15.
