NYRB II suffer first home defeat of season in 2-1 loss to FC Cincinnati

New York Red Bulls II suffered their first home loss of the season as they were defeated 2-1 by FC Cincinnati on Saturday.

With several first players away on international duty, some players from NYRB II were called up to the first team which led to manager John Wolyniec rotating his squad. Scott Levene made his professional debut and started in goal. Lucas Stauffer played at right back while Niko de Vera started on the left. Kevin Politz once again started at center back and was partnered by Wahab Ackwei who also made his professional debut.
