Congratulations to Tyler Adams for his selection to the 2016 MLS Homegrown Team roster. The team, essentially a sort of MLS U-23 Homegrown All-Star squad, will play a Mexico U-20 selection on July 27 as part of MLS' All-Star festivities.
This is the third time MLS has selected a Homegrown squad to play during the All-Star break. The New York Red Bulls have had a lone representative on each of the three rosters. Connor Lade was selected to the 2014 squad that drew 0-0 with a Portland Timbers U-23 team.
