HARRISON, N.J. (January 7, 2020) – The New York Red Bulls have signed New York Red Bulls II midfielder Chris Lema to an MLS contract, the club announced today. Lema had a two-year stint with NYRB II after being drafted by FC Dallas in the second round of the 2018 MLS Superdraft.
“Chris had two great seasons in USL, and we’re pleased to give him an opportunity at the MLS level,” said Red Bulls Sporting Director Denis Hamlett. “We were happy to bring an academy product back to the club when Chris signed with Red Bulls II and are proud to see him take this next step in his career.
