HARRISON, N.J. (January 13, 2016) – The New York Red Bulls have sent the club’s fourth-round pick in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft to D.C. United, to fulfill a conditional pick included in a trade that allowed New York to acquire left back Kemar Lawrence.
The 2016 MLS SuperDraft kicks off tomorrow, January 14, with the first two rounds taking place in Baltimore. The third and fourth rounds of the MLS SuperDraft will take place next week via conference call.
The Red Bulls completed the transfer of Lawrence from Jamaican club Harbour View FC in March of 2015.
