New York Red Bulls not planning on trading into late MLS draft rounds

The New York Red Bulls entered the 2016 MLS SuperDraft with only two picks. The 18th pick in the first and second rounds (18th & 36th overall).

They had traded their fourth round pick, which was confirmed earlier this week, when they had acquired the discovery rights to Kemar Lawrence. They traded their natural third round pick to Toronto FC as part of their late 2013 deal for Bobby Convey. They then seemed to trade the same third round pick to acquire Kyle Reynish from Chicago.
