HARRISON, N.J. (December 9, 2020) – The New York Red Bulls have loaned forward Mathias Jørgensen to Aarhus Gymnastikforening, the club announced today. Jørgensen joins the Denmark side on a six-month loan, with an option to purchase.
“We wish Mathias luck as he goes out on loan,” said Head of Sports Kevin Thelwell. “This is a good opportunity for him to continue his development and gain a new set of experiences.”
Jorgensen signed with New York in 2019 and has made 13 MLS regular-season appearances in 381 minutes played. The Danish striker has also logged time with New York Red Bulls II, tallying 22 matches with 11 goals in 1,814 minutes played.
