New York Red Bulls II end three game skid with 2-1 win over Charleston Battery

New York Red Bulls II ended their three game losing streak with a 2-1 hard fought win over first place Charleston Battery on Sunday.

Manager John Wolyniec opted to make several changes from the team he selected against Ottawa Fury. Ryan Meara started in goal replacing Evan Louro; David Abidor replacing Justin Bilyeu at center back alongside Hassan Ndam; David Najem and Kevin O’Toole maintained their spots at right and left back. Andrew Tinari made his first start in the defensive midfield as he replaced Dan Metzger, playing alongside Arun Basuljevic.
