New York Red Bulls head back to Philadelphia with revenge in mind

Red Bulls looking to return to Philadelphia for revenge after US Open Cup loss in late June

After the Red Bulls finally broke the winless streak and now are on the positive side of the results, are getting ready to make their trip back down the New Jersey Turnpike to face once again the Philadelphia Union but this time in league action. We all remembered what happened in late June when this side went down to Talon Energy Stadium.

After a one goal lead at Halftime the Red Bulls were out done by the Ilsinho to Chris Pontius combination that attacked down the right side of the field and as Ilsinho crossed the ball, Pontius converted two goals from that partnership to defeat the Red Bulls and advance to the Quarterfinals where they will travel to New England and face the Revolution.
