New York Red Bull’s forward Mathias Jørgensen made his Denmark Under-21 national team debut last weekend when Denmark defeated Slovakia’s U-21 3-1 in Belek, Turkey. The preparation match capped off a training camp held in Turkey between January 7-13.
The camp primarily included players from the Danish SuperLiga, however manager Albert Capellas also decided to use this camp to include new faces like Nikolas Dyhr of FC Midtjylland, Lukas Klitten of Aalborg BK and Jørgensen.
During the camp, Jørgensen was interviewed by the national team’s press team to talk about his experience on playing in MLS and living in the U.
