The clean sheet against Vancouver wasn't just special because it was RBNY's first against the 'Caps.
In the build-up to the New York Red Bulls' game against Vancouver Whitecaps, all eyes were on Luis Robles' knee. Once he was safely confirmed back in the starting line-up, all eyes were on his pants.
After the game, Robles and RBNY were celebrating three points and another clean sheet. And for Robles the clean sheet furthered his unique position among goalkeepers for this club. It was his 10th shutout in all competitions this year, and that makes Robles the first RBNY 'keeper to record 10 or more shutouts in three different seasons.
