HANOVER, N.J. – We may be just three weeks into the MLS season, but the New York Red Bulls are already staring down the face of their first bye week of 2016.
After gaining some momentum with their first win of the season, the Red Bulls will now be forced to endure a prolonged layoff until their next match, an April 1 matchup with the New England Revolution at Gillette Stadium.
The weekend off gives the team a chance to rest up, but there are admittedly some mixed emotions surrounding a bye week so early into the campaign.
