After winning the Supporters’ Shield last year, the Red Bulls sit in fourth place in the Eastern Conference, their winless slide now at three games following their 2-0 loss at New York City FC last weekend.
The defending MLS Cup champion Timbers sit in a tie for sixth place in the Western Conference, after extending their current undefeated run to six games last week in a scoreless draw at the Colorado Rapids.
