The New York Red Bulls inched closer to locking up a spot in the 2017 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs despite a loss to Toronto FC on Saturday night.

Jesse Marsch said the team needs to work on correcting their errors that lead to goals.

The Red Bulls fell behind 2-0, but Gonzalo Veron was able to lead a counterattack and grab one back before the half. Veron later was taken down in the 18 for a penalty kick that Daniel Royer converted to draw the game even.

Minutes later, Toronto was awarded a penalty kick of their own, and tacked one on late to secure the 2017 Supporter's Shield with the win.
