Dax McCarty may be heading back to January camp with the U.S. Men’s National Team, according to head coach Bruce Arena.
In a Facebook live segment with U.S. Soccer on Friday afternoon, Arena named the Red Bulls captain as one of a handful of MLS players who will be invited to January camp.
“You’re going to see many of the typical faces. If I can give you a little bit of insight, a couple of players that haven’t been around for a bit will be back in camp,” said Arena.
“An example would be Benny Feilhaber, Juan Agudelo, Gyasi Zardes, Darlington Nagbe, Jordan Morris, Chris Pontius, Dax McCarty, Rosenberry from Philadelphia, the two centerbacks, Hedges and Zimmerman, from Dallas, and so on and so forth," Arena said.
